The RescueAir team just returned from the 22nd Annual Fire Department Instructor’s Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, where they demonstrated our lifesaving FARS to more than 34,000 fire service professionals.

According to Mike Gagliano, Captain at Seattle Fire Department, FDIC is a great opportunity not only to show FARS in action, but to also connect with fire service leaders about adopting codes that would make FARS mandatory in high-risk environments.

“With nearly 850 exhibitors, FDIC is the largest and most influential events we have,” said Gagliano recently. “It’s where departments from around the world learn about the latest technology. But it’s also a place to explore and share best practices. Certainly, FARS fits into both those categories.”

In addition to live demonstrations, the RescueAir booth also featured live appearances from industry leaders, free book giveaways and signings, and breakout sessions where the Recuse Air team and attendees could more fully explore FARS technology.

Said Gagliano, “Every time we talk about the impact FARS can have on large building fires, people get excited. They walk away energized about getting the codes changed in their jurisdiction. There’s definitely a momentum building.”

But it’s only recently that the Montreal Tower has become a landmark of safety, too. That’s because Groupe SCV, Inc. of Montreal is installing a Firefighter Air Replenishment System (FARS) inside the structure—
